On October 7, at 3AM, Officer Daniel McChesney was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on John Street.  When he arrived, he observed that one driver appeared to be highly intoxicated.  The driver, a 32 year old Harrison male was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters.  Testing revealed that his blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit.  He also had open warrants out of the City of Newark.  He received numerous motor vehicle summonses as well.  Further investigation revealed the accident occurred in Bloomfield and the victim followed him to Harrison.  No one was injured.
