On December 15 at 10AM, a Cross Street resident reported she had been the victim of phone scam. She had been contacted by someone claiming to be from Apple calling regarding an order she placed for two iPods. The caller convinced her to purchase $400 worth of iTunes gift cards and share the card numbers with them. Unfortunately, the victim complied and the cards were used leaving a $0 balance.
