On January 19 at 5AM, Officer Dan McChesney was dispatched to an unresponsive male behind the wheel of a car at Hamilton and Third. He observed a male asleep at that intersection when Officers Mike Gregory and Amaris Gracian arrived to assist. The driver, 38 of Harrison, was intoxicated and smelled of an alcoholic beverage. He had difficulty standing and could not perform roadside tests. He was arrested and transported to headquarters where he was processed by DWI. Breath testing verified he was almost twice the legal limit.
