I would like to welcome you to the Harrison Police Departments web page. On March 1, 2018,  I was given the privilege of being sworn in as the  Chief of Police of the Harrison Police Department. My primary goal is to keep our community safe by ensuring that all of our police officers adhere to the principals of our mission statement to protect and serve with honor, integrity and fairness.

As our town continues to grow through ongoing development your  Police Department will pride itself on respect for all of our diverse citizens while delivering exceptional police services from our highly trained officers.    In my role as Chief of Police, I will aim to make Harrison Police Department a model of effective service to the community through the following initiatives:

  • Establish effective community outreach and maintain engagement with community members and leaders in the Town of Harrison through frequent interaction at all levels of policing  We have implemented  the Community Policing Unit and added  Patrol, Park & Walk assignments.
  • Establish and maintain a stable system for communication and collaboration with constituents in the community and the Town Council. We have met with several community organizations, Business owners and resident groups to ask how our police department can better serve our community.
  • Reduce crime through the implementation of best practice protocols for crime prevention and response.  Increase our deployment of the Crime Suppression Unit and addressing hot spots using directed patrol tactics.
  • Establish and maintain the highest level of professionalism and service in officers at all levels through consistent training, mentoring and effective supervision

I strongly believe in utilizing a community oriented  model of policing.  I am committed to ensure that the positive working relationships between the community and the Harrison Police Department remain my priority.
